Dear Member of the House of Commons of Canada Mr. Gary Anandasangaree,
This letter is pertaining to the Humanist Conference that you intend to participate in on the 24th of September 2022.
We would like to bring to your notice about the questionable and dubious actions of the chief organiser of that institution and how the participation in such an event could taint your reputation within the community.
You have been a representative who has always been righteous in your political action. We are worried that you will be making a wrong decision by associating with a group that is known for denying the Tamil Genocide and spreading anti-Eelam and anti-refugee sentiments. The chief organiser of the said event is Mr.Kannabiran, who was recently exposed as a fraud for faking his academic credentials.
The so-called “Humanism conference” that you plan to attend this weekend is being organised by a scamster who has built his profile claiming to be a professor. The academic institutions to which Mr.Kannabiran claimed to have connections with, have all publicly announced that they have nothing to do with Mr.Kannabiran and that they dont know of any such person in their institutions.
Mr.Kannabiran had deactivated his social media profile and is missing in action ever since his fraudulent activities were exposed.
Mr.Kannabiran is also part of a group of people who refer to themselves as Dravidam 2.0 and have been widely spreading Anti-Tamil and Anti-refugee hate messages on social media.
The anti-Tamil, anti-Eelam hate campaign of Dravidam 2.0 is so vile and cruel, that even the current chief minister of Tamil Nadu had to, in a statement to his party members advised them to refrain from such campaigns.
The chief organiser of the event, the fraudster Kannabiran is most likely to use the presence of Mr.Gary Anandasangaree in that event as a form of acknowledgement. By participating in this event Mr.Anandasangaree will most likely be seen promoting a shady institution that is in the business of promoting Tamil genocide deniers.
Furthermore one of the speakers in the event Mr.SenthilKumar has openly defamed the Tamil struggle and has equated it with terrorism. He has even shared the propaganda material of the Sinhala State to make his case.
We hope Mr.Gary Anandasangaree would reconsider his decision and refrain from encouraging such events, because they go against his core principles and all the good work he has done through his political activism. Bringing awareness about the Tamil Genocide is a very crucial step in the Tamil Nation’s demand for justice and we should show zero tolerance towards any institutions or groups that support the oppression of human kind and deny the Tamil genocide.
We hope Mr.Gary Anandasangaree would kindly look into this matter and reconsider his decision to attend the event.
